Maurice Freeman: Head Coach

Maurice Freeman Sr. is a 1983 Graduate of Brooks County High School & 1988 Graduate of Florida A & M University.

Coach Freeman has 34 years as an educator and 28 years as

a Head Football Coach.

He presently serves as the Head Football Coach and Director of Football Operations at Brooks County HS, GA.  He is a member of Phi Beta Sigma and Board Member of Georgia Minority Coaches Association.  He is a Board member of Georgia Athletic Directors Association and President of the Georgia Athletic Coaches Association.

Coach Freeman has won 2 State Championships while at Brooks County with his first in 1994 and captured his second this past season 2021.  

Coach is married to Christine and has 5 children:  Brandyn, Loren, Maurice Jr.,  BreAnna and Halle.
