Justin Brown has been the head football coach at Trion High School the past seven years.  The Bulldogs have been to the playoffs 6 out of those 7 years reaching the Elite 8 twice. In 2017, Trion averaged 37.1 points per game which ranks second all time in their eighty-five year history.  Coach Brown has compiled a 48-30 record while never posting a losing season. Over the past four seasons since incorporating some Gun Wing concepts to their under center wing offense, Trion has averaged 30.5 points per game and 356 yards of offense per game.  He was voted Coach of the Year by the Rome News-Tribune in 2012 and voted by his peers Region Coach of the Year in 2016. He is a 1992 graduate of Trion High School. He has 17 years experience in the Wing T as an assistant, coordinator, or head coach. Before coming to Trion, he spent time at Villa Rica, Mt. Zion Carroll, Alexander, and Temple High Schools.  Coach Brown graduated from the University of West Georgia in 1998 with a BA in English. He has two children, Brett and Casey Brown.
