Coach Jonathan Gess has been the head football coach at Eagle’s Landing Christian Academy (ELCA) since 2007.
He attended college at the Citadel, where he started at center for the football team as a walk-on. After graduation, he became an officer in the United States Air Force in 2002. Through the 2020 season, Coach Gess and his staff have gone 152-32 and won 6 state championships in the GHSA Class A-Private division.
