Dunagan coached the Defensive Back's at Dublin High School. Dublin Defense posted the #1 Scoring Defense in the Region and coached 1st Team Selection Tyler Strickland and 2nd Team Selection Rodriguez Martin. He coached Football at Presbyterian College for 8 years. Dunagan held positions as Defensive Coordinator, Special Teams Coordinator and coached all Defensive Positions during his tenure at Presbyterian College. Dunagan coached NFL Defensive Back and 3 time Pro Bowl Special Teamer, Justin Bethel. After the dismissal of Defensive Coordinator during 2011 season, Dunagan assumed all responsibilities of Film Breakdown, Preparation, and Play-Calling duties. The Defense had a major turnaround and finished 1st in Scoring Defense and Defensive Passing Efficiency. Finished 2nd in Total Defense and 3rd in Rushing Defense with Bethel earning Defensive Player of the Year and Donnelle Williams Freshman of the Year. In addition, 5 players were credited with being on the All Big South Team. During his time at PC, he recruited Georgia, Charlotte, NC and South Florida . From May 2017- July 2018 Dunagan was part of the business world as the Director of Leadership for Master Automotive and the Executive Director of United Way in Laurens County, SC.
