Brent Johnson: Head Coach
Coach Johnson has coached high school football for 26 years. He has 10 years of head
coaching experience, 13 years as a defensive coordinator, and 3 years as an assistant coach.
Coach Johnson has coached tight ends, running backs, defensive line and linebackers
throughout his career. Coach Johnson took his first head coaching position in 2008 at Elgin
High School where he implemented the wing-t offense for all 4 years. While at Elgin his offense
averaged 29 pts per game in the small division of Ohio football. He then took over the Marysville
Monarch football program in 2017. Marysville plays in the largest division in Ohio. Since 2017
he and his staff has built a winning program. They have won back to back league titles in 2020
and 2021. This is the first league title in 20 years at Marysville. They have earned a spot in
Ohio’s high school football playoffs the last 4 years. This is the longest playoff run in school
history and they reached the regional finals in 2021 making them a top team in the state of
Ohio. Since taking over Coach Johnson has built a team that is extremely successful at running
the football in the wing-t and scoring points against some of the best players Ohio has to offer.
They have rushed for over 3000 yds per year since taking over and have averaged 30 points
per game while making defenses guard multiple backs and the entire field.
Craig Conley: OC
Coach Conley has coached high school football for 17 years. During his 17 year career,
Coach Conley has been a collegiate coach, Nike combine director, running backs coach, long
snapping coach, offensive line coach and offensive coordinator. Throughout his career he has
helped to produce 35 collegiate offensive lineman, helped lead Marysville to two league titles in
the three seasons, four straight playoff appearances with a trip to the 2021 Division One
regional finals. Over 17 seasons Coach Conley has coached in a spread offense, power I, triple
option and now wing-t.
