Began coaching in 1990. Became
OC in wing T for 3 years before becoming HC at Abbeville High School at 29.   After Head Coaching stints at Crowley , Kaplan, Carencro, Catholic New Iberia and now Lakeshore high has a 197- 89 overall record with 4 state title appearances winning it in 2017.  Coach Indest is the only coach in the history of Louisiana football to be named LSWA COY at 3 different schools.  This past season he led Lakeshore High to a 10-3 record in his first season matching their total wins over the past two seasons.
