Baker Woodward HC: Savannah Christian HS, GA

Coach Baker Woodward has been coaching in Savannah for the past seventeen years.  Before becoming the head coach of the Savannah Christian Raiders in 2018, he was the offensive coordinator and associate head coach at Benedictine Military School.  At Benedictine he was part of two state championships and led the number one scoring offense in AA in 2013, 2014, and 2016.  Coach Woodward strives to provide a faith based football program where student athletes strive to attack with purpose.  Savannah Christian won the Region 3A championship and ended up making it to the GHSA final four before losing the Eagles Landing.  Baker received a bachelor’s degree in History from Armstrong Atlantic University and a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Georgia Southern University.   He is married to Darcey Beth Woodward and has two children, Ford and Austin Woodward
